The TrueTrak EFIZ in my RV7 started tumbling on my last flight and wouldn't stop; it kept tumbling while I taxied back to my hanger. I shut down and re-started the engine a couple times. It stopped tumbling, but parked in front of my hanger I couldn't tell if it had reset itself or what. It was very distracting in flight on a sunny day. I can only imagine what it would be like at night.

Anyone have a similar experience? Anyone know what might have caused this to happen? It's never happened to me before.

My Dynon D100 attitude indicator failed once. I sent in both my D100 and the remote compass for service. Maybe yours failed too.

Trutrak

Just got mine back from Trutrak after an intermittent loss of display problem. They honored the three year warrantee, and it only took about two weeks including shipping. Haven't flown it yet to make sure the problem is solved, but they're still supporting my EFIS which is truly appreciated.
