Hi Everyone! I recently picked up an RV-6 project. It has a 3.8L V-6 Ford Javelin engine (230 h.p.). Any ideas what it would be worth, or who would want it? I am planning on putting an O-360 on it, so I won't have any use for it.

I have no idea John, but I always wondered why someone hasnt tried to do a PSRU for this engine. Engine make pretty good power, and is redily available.

I actually flew with Dave Blanton when he had this engine installed in a C-172. A bunch of us were thinking of putting it on the Prescott pusher, as he had claims of 250 HP. At least one guy got killed on takeoff using this engine in the Prescott. I did build one up to use and then decided for the better not to use it. I ended up selling it to a guy who used it as a ground unit to test props. He loved it, and we were both happy.
