I have a .xlsx spreadsheet to do weight and balance

I'd love a little help

I downloaded a pre-done one and it has x3 sheets

You can see it at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2UXikAMM3knajkxUFBqSzAtMms/view?usp=sharing

VH PDM Sheet is the photo image from my POH of the data specific to my RV-7A

The weight and balance sheet gives the envellope

The DATA sheet has half a dozen bold red numbers THESE ARE THE ONES THAT I WANT SOME VERIFICATION ON

Any comments most appreciated. I need to know these red bold numbers are correct.

Thanks

Tim

C of G Arms

Hi Tim,
The Bold Red "Arms" for the Nose Wheel, Left and Right Main wheels are
determined at the time of weighing the aircraft. You can double check these
figures by setting up the aircraft in level attitude, laterally and longitudinally,
(easy for a 7A as it sits about right anyway). Then measure the distance
from the Datum ( 70 inches forward of the wing leading edge) TO the
centre of the wheel.
The other Bold Red "Arms" for Fuel, Pilot/Pax and Baggage are set
by the engineers at Vans. (80" for Fuel,97.48" for Pilot/Pax and 126.78" for Baggage.)
On the Vans website (under Documents) there is a paper
"RV-7A WEIGHT AND BALANCE DATA - QUICK REFERENCE"
Its a worthwhile exercise to print it out.
Cheers,
Rob
