Hello RV-ators,

We are working on the rebuild of an RV-7A (with 30 hours total flying time) which was involved in a tip-over accident. Totally different from building a new one, I can tell you! Today we launched a website which logs our progress. Feel free to scan our entries and to see what damage can happen to an RV within 10 seconds :(
We have removed all parts that were damaged or suspect and we have just ordered a whole lot of new parts from Van's. Let the rebuilding begin, she will fly again!

RV Rebuild

Thanks for the site, it will interestesing to keep an eye on.

I hope everyone involved in the original crash walked away. Out of curiosity, what was the ultimate cause of the crash?

Your Website is Unique

Rene,

Your website is one of a kind. I am not aware of RV (re)builder who kept detailed recovery web-log. There were a lot of corrections, modifications and repairs builders recorded and displayed but nothing like that. Please keep those pages filled with details if you have spare time. Very informative, thank you. A gentleman I know is looking for a similar project I will forward the link to him.
