I need to replace the tattered weatherstripping in the front of my 7 tip up, in the front center where the canopy meets the subpanel. I've had a hard time because you can't really get to it very well. Is there any tricks to getting a new strip up there without removing the canopy altogether?

Tip-Up Canopy Seal

You can improve access by disconnecting the gas filled lift struts and swinging the canopy to a vertical position. No need to remove the canopy. Make sure you've got help.

I had the same thing happen to my seal material. I wound up replacing it with wing seal material that I trimmed down. Its nice since it clamps on the trim seal flange and I used some 3M adhesive to attach it. So far it is working fine.
