I am re-doing my RV6A panel and when we trial fit all the components I noticed that my VSI has a cloudy film on the inside of the glass.
Is this something I can correct myself (the inside of the glass needs to be cleaned)-- can I take unit apart without dammage to the unit ?? Or do I have to send to a Pro for rebuild? If I do can you recommend anyone in S/E area ?

Certified Repair Station

Bob, I would guess you are not a certified repair station for this instrument.
But if you were a certified repair station you could simply remove the glass and clean it with glass cleaner. Reassemble and have a new looking instrument in about five minutes.
