Hi,

had a tail raising on the weekend, all went very well. (thanks Mark and Ken). My question is this; upon reviewing drawing 27 section b, it showed the 3 An4's near the bottom of the VS (RV8), but also shows 2 bolts (no call out) roughly 8.5 inches up from the 3 on the bottom. I kind find a reference, and Mark couldn't remember if he had to install more than 3 bolts on the Vs....

any helpers?

Mike,

Take a look at zone F3 on the same drawing - there are the two bolts (actually four - two of them are vertical) that I THINK you're talking about - they hold the rear elevator arm stop (F-812B).

Are those the ones?

looking at it now... okay got it,, I have go make the part then vertically 2 an3.. and then the 3's through the VS,,with bolt heads facing aft.
