I am just working through the options for redundancy around the VP-X and wanted to get the concensus opinion on the best way to tackle this issue.

My options are currently as follows:

Option 1. Redundancy involves a bypass for each output separately (i.e. Radio/NAV/Lights etc...)

Option.2. The instruments are separated into two different buss. Primary emergency on Buss 1 and secondary on Buss 2. For connections so that there is no backfeed to each instrument I have a diode bank that allows the instruments to be fed current, without any back feed to the VP-X.

I am interested in peoples opinions as I feel that if I can make the process less complex in the cockpit environment, I feel it may be worth it. I am between these two options.

Note my setup will likely have 2 Alternators and 1 battery. This is for VP-X failure bypass.

Thanks to all in advance.
