I don't think there's a way to directly embed a video, like you do photos. You could just paste a link to youtube, vimeo, etc.

Here is what I put into the body of the Kitlog Text

What you get is a preview picture in the kitlog text area that is the YouTube video with the ''play'' button imbedded in the middle of the youtube picture...
Don't ask what all that stuff is. Try copying this and pasting it into a kitlog page. Replace the Youtube video ID (blue highlight) with the Video ID for your video in the two places highlighted. Your video ID comes after the v= in the youtube address when you are watching it in youtube. Publish it and see what you get.....

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aCgqDBkgZM0?hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aCgqDBkgZM0?hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Wow thanks! That is even better than I had hoped for. I will definitely be trying it out on mine, that just does SO much more for the KitLog than just those words and stills.

Well, it did not work for me. I am sure I got the letters right, I did a copy and paste of all of it. Here is my insert of my YouTube video, can you see any errors?
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWN_beG4h0w"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWN_beG4h0w1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
When I pull up my kitlog, the space where I put this is blank.

Looking for a Youtube Computer Guru

I have been unable to tailor a Youtube address to come up in Kitlog, but it is obvious that it an be done.
I can find about a half dozen different address links to a Youtube video, but when I put them in provided instructions, they don't work. Can anyone help me find out how to do this? I think I get lost in the descriptive terms used in the process.
