I've heard about it via the message below but I haven't seen it yet.

Folks may recall a very nice video that was done by Jeff Lee at
LiveAirShowTV.com after last year's Rocket race - it's still posted on the race
memories page for that race http://www.sportairrace.org/id314.html

Jeff found time on his schedule to come out to this year's Rocket race and
outdid himself with another race season wrap-up video.

I invite you to see it at one of two places, either
http://www.youtube.com/LiveAirShowTV or directly on YouTube at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUh1lgQJn6M

An outstanding job, Jeff!

Thank you!

I believe it is George Fisher's EVO Rocket

If you go to www.sportairrace.org then to Race Memories I think you Will find photographs of it in the 2010 Rocket 100 set and an earlier TVAR race. I took of after him at another race and it is an unbelievably beautiful deep dark blue. Very unusual.

P.S. I found several photos of it in Race Memories for the Great Canadian Air Rally Air Race. He calls the plane "Midnight Mistress"

There is a gorgeous looking black -8 at 2:42. Anyone know who that belongs to or where photos may be found?

Bob's right, that's George Fisher's F1 EVO, Midnight Mistress. It is indeed a very pretty plane! Here's a couple pics from up at Tom's farm during the Great Canadian Air Rally (July 2010):

Pretty true color in the pics...it's really gorgeous, especially when the light hits it right!

I don't think we've seen how fast it'll go yet, 'cause it seems he always finds a pretty girl to take along for the race (Priorities...I love that!) :D

Great vid of the Rocket Race too (though waaayyy too much of my mug in it! ;))

Cheers,
Bob

It is worth you time

It is worth your time to watch this video just to see the Mustang racing. Some of the smokers add a little emphasis with the smoke on at dramatic times. The T-28, Bob Mills RV-Super 6 and one of the roickets for example.
