I just talked to PS Engineering about brightness on their new PAR100EX Audio Panel. They couldn't quote me specs on this, but did say a bright display would increase the cost from $23.00 to $100.00 per unit. A RV flyer told me he has trouble seeing the frequency display on his Icom 210 in bright sunlight. I don't know about the view on the PAR100EX display but I'm guessing its similar. I am building a RV7 and haven't decided yet to go with a LC or LED (Garmin SL40) display. I'd appreciate if anyone has any experience on this issue.
