Seeking advise from those who have done this before me!
I'm building an RV6A with a carbureted (updraft) Lycoming O-360 wide deck engine and a Sam James "extended" cowling.
SJ advises the vertical induction kit from Vans "will work" with an updraft carb, but their induction kit (I-MK1-KIT) would give more manifold pressure.
Looking to learn from those who have used a SJ extended cowling with the VANS induction as well as those who used the SJ induction kits.
ps. there's a $50 difference in pricing, so not much of a factor.
Appreciate your experience and wisdom!
Jerry
