Hi all, busy doing some work on a flying 10. Purchased the PlaneAround door pin kit. It says that the Vans supplied magnets should drop into the pins. The magnets we found in the door tubes does not fit into the pins. I assume the magnets are not those supplied by Vans? Any ideas? Thank you

Not what you asked, but I find the billet door pins and guides from this company to be a very good way to go.

I just installed the magnets in the PlaneAround door pins and they dropped right in. So like you said those magnets are probably not from Vans.
You should be able to use any strong magnet that will fit in the pins. In my testing the reed switches seem to be pretty sensitive.

Ok we have confirmation that the magnets are from another source and too big to fit in there. Thank you all

I bought and installed these on my -10 this week. They are perfect fit in the PA door pins and strong.
