I've never been overly impressed with the catered food. I'm sure that Van's is raising the cost to cover their expense. Personally, I'd rather have hamburgers and hot dogs and reduce the cost.

I suspect at $40 there will be fewer peopled denied access because many will skip the banquet. While I've enjoyed the event for many years, I'm strongly thinking about whether or not I'll attend.
