Vancouver Island

Victoria and the country side of Vancouver Island are nice. Butchart Gardens is very nice. Very good airport.

It was worth it just for the name....

If you get a rental car, it's a nice out of the city center location.

Tie down at the Victoria Flying Club was friendly and the rental car folks delivered right to the club building - which is near a factory that is actually making new Beavers....

I'll throw in my tourist pictures of the Empress Hotel and Bouchart Gardens - it is pretty there --
