To make this RV related, I'm calling this post a "VAF Shirt Sighting". ( I left my hat in the truck, dang)
Just got back from a fabulous non-RV related vacation/anniversary cruise from Ft Lauderdale to the Virgin Islands. (OK, maybe the words fabulous vacation and non-RV can't really be used in the same sentence, but it was great, as far as boats go
)
Our waiter jogged my memory about a unique airport on St Maarten's Island. My wife, Sandi and I decided it was a mandatory stop.
Below, is a composite photo of the view from our seats at the Sunset Beach Bar where we enjoyed the arrivals and departures at Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM). The panoramic photo makes it look farther away than it really was. Quite a site. If you haven't experienced it, put it on your "bucket list". You won't be disappointed. My only regret was that we were not able to stay as long as we wanted because the ship departed early afternoon.
