Any help? Which vacuum regulator should I use for my RV9 (O320). The vacuum gauge shows 4,5 on idle an 6 with full power. I have been told it should be regulated to show 5 - 5,5.
I am pleased to report that I just Googled "vacuum regulator" and got 2,100,000 responses and none refer to aircraft equipment. I'm just sayin'...
But seroiusly, Aircraft Spruce has a nice selection of aircraft regulators that are really expensive. Before you spend all that money I would suggest that you check the vacuum pressure gauge against a more reliable test gauge. The gauges made for aircraft panels are notoriously inaccurate. Maybe your plane is telling you it wants/needs an upgrade.
