I'm building a new set of flaps and just found a defect in the top skin. The bend at the rear spar should start just aft of the spar, but mine starts well before it. One of the skins is fine, measuring 11.25 inches from trailing edge to the start of the bend, but the bad one measures about 10.875. I'm gonna call Vans on Monday, but I anticipate the usual unwillingness to accept that a part was made incorrectly. Has anybody found this same defect?
