Just read the latest updated service bulletin from Rotax that adds more engins to the cylinder check. Our engines are supposed to be 912ULS, and the affected range of serial numbers is higher than that of my engine. HOWEVER, the range of UL engines listed would seem to include my engine. Did Rotax use the same range of serial numbers for both types? Is there an error in the ASB? Do I really have a 912UL? Does anyone really know?

Our engines are 912ULS and have unique serial numbers not used for 912S engines, so there are no double numbers.
