I discovered how great an improvement these were midway into the build of my RV-9A (flying since 2015). The time has come to start selling off my tools so I thought I’d start with these. One was purchased from Webster Tool Aircraft and Supply. The second probably came from Avery or Cleveland. $400 each, shipping included. The shorter bar is 3/4” thick and the longer bar is 5/8” thick. Both are in excellent condition.

Did you mean to say $400 for both?

I have not checked in to availability of these bucking bars currently, but tungsten is virtually unobtainable right now as a commodity. I would be surprised if new manufacture of these bars is available. I know machine shops that won’t even price tungsten parts due to crazy high prices.

I placed an order with ACS for the following bucking bar: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/buckingbar12-04863.php

Shipped within a day, no problem.

Nevertheless, Yardstore quoted $750 for two similar ones...
