I was Flying home the other day and notice my manifold gauged pegged all the way to the stop. Landed and shut engine off and gauge still pegged. Turn the master off and it went all the back. Master back on and a full 36" of pressure.

Has anyone had this trouble before with vans gauge? Any ideas?
 
Vans has good instructions on how to troubleshoot their gauges. They are with the installation sheet. Maybe you can find them online.
My guess...... Bad ground or one failed component.
