Is tungsten carbide the same material used in the tungsten bucking bars ?
Or is it some other type of tungsten ?
EJ

Bucking bars are usually an alloy of tungsten, copper, and probably nickel, and are soft like steel to be machine-able. Tungsten carbide: diamond-like hardness and brittle.

If they have nickel I would protect the surfaces with masking tape or such... some people are allergic for nickel so better just keep your hands away from it or wear gloves.
