I'm planning to take my daughter on a day trip to St. Louis to see the Arch soon. Realizing the days are getting shorter, I understand we might get back home after dark. It was a nice night, so after doing some work post dinner, I wandered out to the hangar and proceded to get night qualified. Here is the annotated APRS GoogleEarth graphic:
Some may see these as "sloppy night patterns" - I would rather they be seen as "Creative exploration of the post solar ground to flight transition environment".....![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I don't fly much at night, but if I know I might be doing it, I want to be prepared, and I want to know the plane is ready, too.
- good night
