I need to be in Scottsdale, AZ, the week of 10/22. My preliminary route for planning purposes is 1N1 (Sandia Airpark), SJN (St. John's), SDL (Scottsdale). I have visited both FBOs at SDL via car and figure I'd go with Landmark as they appear to be the least concerned about my cluttering their ramp with an old Cherokee. SDL IS closer to where I need to be but I've never flown anywhere in AZ, much less under Class B, and wondered if Stellar would be a better destination to tie down for a week? I don't need local transportation.

Appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
