 Does anybody know of a source for transfer pins that are in a shape of a NAS1097 reduced head rivet (Oops rivet) or a standard flush rivet? It's not for a RV project, but still needed. Google has not revealed anything, figure this is the best place to ask for help.
Thanks

Transfer Punches?

I'm familiar with three types of transfer pins/punches for standard rivet sizes:

1. Cleaveland sells a set of seven transfer punches sized for standard rivets. See http://www.cleavelandtoolstore.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TPS7

2. They also sell strap duplicators (so do Avery and other vendors).

3. Brown also sells individual transfer punches.

I'm not aware of any for 'Oops' rivets...don't they just use the next larger size rivet hole? Or do you have another purpose in mind?

Regards,
Mike

This?

Are you thinking of a hole transfer pin like this?

not yet...

The ones I'm looking for look just like a 5/32" NAS1097 (reduced head) oops rivet. They are made of steel and have the transfer point on top of the head. I need to take a picture and post it. I have a few in hand but I need a bunch more. I don't know where they came from and I sure can't find anything on them yet. PLEASE, keep trying!! I know this is the best place for help!!

I use em all the time and here's a thread I started which should point you in the right direction. One of the links has a source of the 5/32" size you seek.

This relatively recent update to the original thread illustrates how quickly I was able to drill out the canopy skirt using transfer punches:

Good luck.
