My RV is now on its way to Brazil... The happy buyer and his friend took off today from Kendall-Tamiami (TMB) and made a safe journey to Providenciales. It was hard watching that takeoff and seeing my baby fly away.

The guys have a SPOT with them and can be tracked here:

Also, their blog is online, but only in Portugese :)

Wishing them a good and safe trip and good weather.

How accurate is the SPOT? It looks like their last position was 4 hours ago and quite a few mile off shore from Providenciales. Is this a common feature if you have a SPOT?

Cheers.

From Rosie: His SPOT is updating every 10 minutes, and he landed then turned off his SPOT before it updated on Providenciales. I either leave mine on after landing for awhile or there is a way to 'force' an update. I've had friends call to let me know that I've landed in a cornfield short of my destination :D

Final into St. Maarten:

Everything's going well. Yesterday they flew from Provo to St. Maarten in 4:10hrs and still had about 10 gal. left upon landing.

Last SPOT update -- they landed in Georgetown, Guyana -- they are on the continent!!! Nothing-but-ocean is now replaced with nothing-but-jungle.

Arrived?

It looks like they have to be at home already. Do you have any updates Radomir?

Yup.. they're home.. arrived on Saturday... they had a great trip. Everything went well and the airplane just purred on. Above all, the weather was good the whole way.

Today Andre posted some numbers including fees, time, fuel etc. on his blog. Here is a screen shot. Thank you Andre.
