Press to fit caps to cover tow bar holes in RV-6A Wheel Pants. Not sure of nomenclature. Need a source for replacements

Have you tried the AviationSectionofAceHardware? (say it fast) ...
Safe to say, there isn't a Vans part number.
There are rubber and stainless ... either way, keep in mind that if they are NOT secure and fall out on the ramp, taxiway or runway, they may be other people's problems.

These are sold at most chain stores, Lowes, ACE, HD and online Amazon or their store. They stay in very well, u can adjust for tighter fit too. I only seem to loose during wheel/tire maintenance .

I would think they'd be more of a PITA than useful...you'd have to insert and remove them at least twice on every flight, no?

HoDe has changed suppliers for their specialty hardware and they no longer carry snap-in hole plugs, at least in my local area. Lowes still carries a full selection of stainless and plastic (black and white) hole plugs.
