I have a RV6A slow build and I have just installed the landing gear weldments. A good portion of the bolts can't be installed following the "install in direction of flight" rule
because the bolts interfere with the weldment, so they are installed facing the wrong way. The problem is that I'm
ready to torque the nuts and because of the weldment being in the way there is no direct line for use of a socket.
I can't torque the bolt as they are a tight fit to begin with.
So can I use "crows feet" on the nuts and if so is there a formular for figuring out how the "crows feet" impact the torque setting.
How have those who have gone before me dealt with this ???

If crows foot or torque adapter is 90 degrees

to torque wrench then no formula needed. If it has to be on the end let us know and I will get the formula for you.
