I am doing my first condition inspection on my R9A this month and I wonder if I should check on the torque on all nuts and screws that can be seen when the cowl and inspection plates are removed? When I installed the bolts originally I marked each one with red finger nail polish to indicate I had torqued them. However, the marks were not done lineally across the bolt and nut in some cases. So those I can't determine if they have moved since installation.

I have done a search of the inspection check list threads and this was not addressed.

can't hurt

I check the important ones when the hood is open- - carb, mag holder-downer, oil lines, etc.
