I picked up a torque wrench that has a range of 20inch-lbs to 200inch-lbs.
Will this be adequate for what I need to torque on the RV-9?

Yes, that will be fine for everything except the engine attach bolts (which may or may not be torqueable anyway depending on who you listen to) and perhaps the wing attach bolts.

Wrenches capable of hitting those bigger values are probably too big for convenient use elsewhere on the plane, so I would stick with what you've got. You can probably borrow a bigger wrench on the two days you need it.

if its a click type be sure to really pay attention for the click. when on lower settings it is quite subtle. all those 10/32 nuts will torque to about 32" lbs with drag torque compenstaed for. so stay alert..
