Found these for sale in my local area.... need to know if they will work before I buy!!!

I am posting this for my father. A year or so ago he purchased this in the hopes of setting up his own personal shop, but never did. Now, he needs the money. The box may have a dust and grime from sitting out in storage, but that's on the outside plastic wrap. It has never been used, and is still sealed and wrapped in the original unopened box. $50- and you come pick it up

I have a couple of those drill presses at work...they are typical consumer quality tools. They will work fine for building an rv, but I wouldnt use it for serious drill press work (like drilling any holes bigger than 1/2") where you need a really ridgid setup. Its at least the same quality of anything you will find at Home Depot or Sears. $100 is not great...I would offer 75. The sander is typical china stuff from Harbor Freight. It should work fine for the rv, but realise its a disposable tool, if it dies, it goes in the trash.

That drillpress was $380.00 new 10 years ago. I have the same model and it has been a good press. It's not for major production work or milling because of the table. I have used 5" hole saws and spinner bits with no problems.

Mel, my take is that Daniel wants to buy these items, not resell to the listers.

Daniel, I have a 500 rpm drill press as well, and worked fine for me. Could have used a slower speed when using a fly cutter, but going slow and taking my time, things worked out well. Make sure the holes it drills are true. You don't want the chuck to wobble. Bearings/bushings can get easily dammaged if the drill press was used as a router (applying excessive side force to the cutting tool).

I also have same sander (different brand from a local hardware store chain in this neck of the woods). Good tool to have. Then finish up your part with scotchbrite wheel and you're done. I bought mine new for $100.

Sounds like a deal for the drill press.

I have a sander like the one in your post, from Harbour Freight, and it works great for building an RV.
