I'm New Here
Hey Guys...just about to get started on getting my workshop in order!, In addition to the airplane making sheet metal tools, does anyone have a list of other tool sets in their tool boxes ? Such as screw driver (types, etc), socket sets and types, blah blah. I have a very minimally equipped craftsman roller tool box and i want to make sure that I am not up a creek without a paddle as I start my tail kit. Thanks in advance.

you only need a couple of generic tools to build the tail kit:
phillips screwdrivers, some small socket sets.
might as well get the one tool you should have from now on, or borrow it: a torque wrench. in fact you won't need it much once you get the first bolts torqued on the hs. you should borrow one for that if you could then you wouldn't need it for a while. you could buy one of those little tubes of torque seal also

Thanks Danny. I didnt even really think about that. I have the RV 8 preplans and have consulted the tool list there however I have quickly learned from these forums that the experience of those before me is worth a million bucks... thanks again.
Respectfully
