Any RVers in the Ft. Lauderdale area know if Todd's Canopies are still making canopies? Are they still a viable company?

After a phone conversation with Todd in late November, I sent a check and some drawings including full size templates for a fastback sliding canopy for a RV-4.

It was to be similar to Jake Thiessen's fastback RV-4 only a little longer.

He was to make the canopy in late December then e-mail me pictures of it.

January came and went, so did February. No canopy. About three weeks ago after many e-mails to him, he replied saying he was working all weekend to make me one.

Still haven't heard if it's been made.

Has anyone in this group received a canopy from them in the last two months?
If you did, how long ago did you order it?

Maybe he is really back logged and I just half to wait.

No experience with an RV canopy from Todd, but we had him make a couple of Cozy MKIV canopies a few years back with no problems. I good guy to deal with, good pricing, and quality products. There have been no complaints posted, recent or past, from the canard group.

I ordered canopy from Todd for RV8 after Oshkosh and received in Oct last year. Todd had emergency in the family and the order was a bit delayed but it was OK with me. Looks like your canopy is custom and it could take longer to make. My overall experience with Todd is good.
