I have a new (2006) that I just unpickled and installed. How do I determine which Lyc IO 360 model, A#...… thorough E...., it is closest to for use of the Lycoming manual performance charts? It is a fixed pitch and I think serial # CT-625 if memory serves me.

Check for AD on the cylinders, you probably have ECI cylinders like my 2006 0-360.

I do. Knew it when I bought the project. Group B, figure I have some hours to fly before I worry about it.

From an ex ECi employee;
A1A = 2 impulse coupled magnetos, variable pitch
A1D = 1 impulse and 1 direct drive magneto, variable pitch
A2A = 2 impulse magnetos, fixed pitch
A4M = solid main crankshaft, fixed pitch only, 1 impulse and 1 direct drive magneto
It's unknown how Mattituck actually configured the engine but this may help by characteristics. There are other configurations than these but they primarily have to do with the crankshaft set up.
