Good to know. Any issue with wheel pant fitment? Just leave them off for soft field ops, I assume?
Depends if your wheel pants are mounted high enough. You will have to widen the base area to fit what are essentially 6" tires on 5" rims. The height of the tires is also more than the 5.00x5's, but not by much. You also have to make sure you have enough clearance from your brake calipers. I operate from our grass strip 100% of the time and the wheel pants stay on all the time. These tires are noticeably better IMHO than the 5.00x5 tires on grass.

I mounted my wheel pants 1/2" higher than in the plans to create extra clearance in anticipation of installing 380x150-5.00 tires. That did create an issue with the brake calipers, so I made blister fairings on the wheel pants -- essentially a bulge to create extra room inside.

Those fiberglass blister fairings are available from HPAircraft.com

They come roughly trimmed and oversize. You cut out the clearance you need in the wheel pant around the caliper, then trial fit and trim down the fairing to fit. I just installed mine with epoxy+flox bonding paste and added a slight fillet of epoxy+microballoons around the edge. You could put a narrow fiberglass tape around the joint and then blend over that with epoxy+microballoons.

Here's what they look like installed.
