The tail wheel doesn't need any air. ;)

However, I pump the mains up to 35 psi and try to catch them before they drop below 25.
 
I used to run 30 psi in my -6 because with any more pressure, the gear would oscillate (vibrate? wobble?). After a couple hundred hours, I thought that since it's a harmonic vibration, why not try a much higher pressure? So I went for 40 psi, and that works well. And I have less tire wear.

I've been running with 45 psi including the NG and that seems to work well also.
