All,
My (small) love (big) hate relationship with my tip-up canopy continues. I've been trying to seal where the canopy meet ups with the front deck in an attempt to prevent water from coming in.
First off the block we tried a rubber seal, but as the gap is irregular (builder tolerance!) it didn't quite work. Second attempt was to apply a generous portion of Fosroc Silaflex MS, a product that is designed to form to the surrounding surfaces. This may work OK, but it looks dreadful. In the past I've been quick to grab my can of 'fleck' paint under these circumstances as it's fantastic at covering up a multitude of sins.
My question: With the increased flexibility and the 'rubbery' nature of the Silaflex will the Fleck paint stick? If not, is there something I can put on the Silaflex first to allow it to stick?
