The instructions mention putting a .032" gap in between the 702 skin and 771 forward top skin of the tip-up canopy, but it seems that many of the comments I've seen on build logs say that the gap had to be increased in the end. I haven't drilled my hinges yet, and have wiggle room to snug the skins up to the .032 or open them up a bit. Is the .032 gap too small? I'd rather widen it at the get go before drilling hinges vs having to file away skin later on. What's the realistic gap to start with to save some time down the road?
