As much massaging as I've done to the canopy side rails and rear channel, I can't get one side to mate up correctly. On the left side, the aluminum angle welded to the side rail just doesn't match the angle of the rear channel (I already sanded off the bottom lip on the angle to make it flat, but it's the actual mating angle to the channel that is off). The picture makes it seem closer than it is - on the inside there's about 3/32" of a gap between the angle and channel. I'm guessing I'm not the first to encounter this. Do I just let the channel twist a tiny bit to make the surfaces set against each other, or should I correct the gap with some micro, epoxy putty, shims, etc? If it matters, my plan is to Sika the canopy.
