The F823-1 Mid Fuselage skins require you to make a 'Conical Bend' per the instructions. I first did the bend per Vans instructions. I Then took it to the assembly and put the skin on. So far, So good. Then the instructions have you cleco the F807A-L&R-1 Fuselage Bulkheads to the skins. Woe is me. There is a tremendous gap between the skin and the bulkhead.

After removing and re-clecoing the skin twice to 'reform' the bend, it dawned on me.

Instead of moving the skin back and forth between the workbench and the assembly, just use the F807A-L&R-1 bulkhead as a template.
After each bend, I removed the angles and unclamped the 2x4 form block and then put the F807A-1 Bulkhead in position to check fit. This told me where I needed to bend or relax.

Even though I spent a total of 6 Hours getting the bends correct, I probably saved at least 2-3 hours by not going back and forth with the skin for the last 5-6 bends.

Just be patient, you will get a good fit.
