I need to get some clecos that will pull the materials tightly together when there is considerable spring-back (i'll need this for the forward skins to pull them tight against the longeron where it is twisted inward toward the front. I found these at avery:

Are there any other types of clecos (perhaps less expensive than those) that will do what I need?

Try a search for Wing Nut Clekos. Cleaveland sells there here http://www.cleavelandtoolstore.com/prodinfo.asp?number=CLWN for $2.80 each. Check out Ebay for some better prices.

Personally, I didn't use anything other than normal clecos for the front of the longeron. Maybe I added a normal c-clamp to it -- there is good access to get a c-clamp in there for the extra pull.
