As many of you know, I've always been interested in how RV projects intersect with life, often becoming a metaphor for all of our other relationships and tasks. I can't speak for anyone else -- I know this sort of thing isn't everyone's cup of tea -- but what I find more and more often (especially on an RV project that takes a long time) is how our life's timeline is marked by an RV project's timeline -- or at least our aviation timeline.
Give me a momentous (or not) occasion in the life of my family, and I can tell you what part I was working on at the time it happened. For many people, music occupies this role. For me, it's an RV project.
Anyway, I was buttoning up the top aft skin last night and wrote about the big, deeper meaning on the blog. I thought maybe you'd like to read it. Or not.
