Well, it's only a baby step, but it's a step none-the-less. My wife said I could get anything for my birthday. So I hopped onto Van's site and picked up the Preview Plans as well as the tool box and flight control surface practice kits. Almost there...Almost there...that first flight is dreamily in sight!

Congratulations James!

My brother and I ended our daydreaming phase a little more than a year ago and are enjoying every step of the build process.

With the quality of the Van's Kit and the support you get on this forum you can't go wrong.

Hope to see you in your RV-8 in South Africa one day:D
