First off, I want to state that my wife and I have much to be thankful for this year. Our love for each other, our friends and family, our health, our faith, Torque the wonder dog, the plane, and a lot more. Even this forum comes to mind as without it, our RV-9 wouldn't be flying.

In the 77 hours we have put on the -9 since its first flight on August 5th we have used it to visit family and friends, given a bunch of rides to other builders (RV's and non-RV's), and just had fun with it.

This Thanksgiving we were hoping to take it to visit my Mother up in mid-Michigan (28A to 3BS) but it looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate with us. On the positive side, we REALLY need the rain, so I can't complain.

I hope all of you have a safe holiday, weather you are building, flying, or staying home enjoying the company of your family.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Looks like were in the same weather pattern, Bill. Too soggy to head to Arkansas in the RV so we'll fly low in the Volvo.
