Yesterday I was flying a friend northbound along the Hudson river corridor in NY (typical sight seeing run...) and noticed that the TFR around Trump tower showed up differently on ADS-B IN and Foreflight. In Foreflight it seems the TFR protrudes into the Hudson river corridor over the river a bit. On ADS-B it looked like the TFR stops before the rivers edge. Now I know that's not a lot of difference but the Hudson river corridor is not that wide. I ended up flying mid river to stay clear in either case but that's squeezing it pretty tight if there is a lot of southbound traffic.
So how do I figure out where the TFR really ends without trying ... . I am sure that TFR will stay for at least the next 4 years. Also why are they different?
