The Airway Science for Kids TeenFlight program in Portland, Oregon is auctioning its latest youth-built RV-12, N114TF. The auction runs through October 5th and is currently live at the http://www.teenflightairplane.com/ web site.

Proceeds from the sale will help fund the next airplane kit for the TeenFlight Portland program's fifth class of youth. The aircraft being auctioned is the fourth RV-12 built by teens through the program, under the lead-mentorship of Van himself and serveral other experienced builders. The airplane received its ELSA airworthiness certificate in July. It was tested and then flown by adult mentors and TeenFlight students to Oshkosh and back this summer, where it was displayed along with an impressive group of other youth-built airplanes from the many fine youth-build programs around the continent. The auction airplane has approximately 60 hours on the Hobbs meter.

If you or someone you know is interested in a very well-equipped ELSA RV-12 -- with Garmin G3X touch glass touch-screen EFIS, two-axis autopilot, ADS-B in/out and more -- please check out the web site for complete information, photos, and to place a bid!
