Wondering if anyone has had this problem. The interface at the very leading edge of the wing where the fuel tank and the leading edge screw together are not matching. The fuel tank is sticking out about 1/16 of and inch furthere then the wing leading edge. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do about it? Thanks!!!

Tank to LE Attach

It sounds like your splice plate may be angled a bit. I had the same problem and ended up making a new splice plate.

I used about a dozen side grip clecos the second time around to tightly clamp the blank plate on the LE as I backdrilled the holes. Got a much better fit.

Do you have clecoes through the skin and in the baffle? When test fitting the tank to the LE, if clecoes are installed they hang-up on the spar re-inforcements causing the tank to sit higher. The problem rectifies itself upon final assembly.
