Good Day Folks,

I'm a little confused with my fuel tanks at the moment. All of the ribs (except the outboard one) are sealed and riveted in place. I'm going to use flop tubes for inverted fuel pick up. What do I do with the hole for the fuel pick up tube located in the tank access plate? I'm using the larger, centered, hole for my float sender. Do I seal the other one or do I install 2 fuel pick up tubes in each tank (1 normal and 1 flop)?

Thanks for the help.

Chris

You need only one fule pick up in each tank. If you are installing a flop tube, the fuel sender will be installed on the tank baffle in the second bay instead that on the most inner tank rib to avoid interferences. You'll have to modify the tank baffle to install the sender (description on drawing 16A).

Van's sells an undrilled access plate that you'll install in place of the original T-708 to close all the unused holes.
