The instructions say to dust some talcum powder in a tire before putting the tube in. Since that is hard to find, would regular body powder do the job? Thanks. Lyle

Been using baby powder for 19+ years. Use a lot of it - many flat tires are caused by the tube gradually stretching w/r to the tire. This phenomenon is a bit mysterious, but seems to happen. Many threads on VAF about this. The typically appear as cracks or tears on the side of the innertube.
