I'm planning on converting my old style 90* bend tail spring to accomodate a Bell fork. I have read everything I can find about doing this and I only hope mine will come free of the weldment easier than some I've read about. I have the Bell fork already and will be ordering the Van's FSTW adapter, spring, and key slide.

Do you need to change the steering arm when going from the 90* to the newer style or will the old one work?
